I come from a digital content & brand management and promotional background, with a focus on video content creation, social media outreach, and email messaging. Prior to coming on as a Project Manager, I worked primarily in the education, healthcare and entertainment industries, for companies like Berkleemusic, Fanscape Inc. and Learning Ally, all while I attended Emerson College, as a marketing communications major focusing on advertising and public relations with a minor in psychology. There I was introduced to real world experiences, issues and problems and was pushed to my limit by people who are actively working in the industry.

In addition to my vast experiences in marketing, I am an avid comics fan and aficionado. Over the course of 12 years, I have actively been building a collection of Japanese, American and independent comics content, a feat which lead me to start writing and critiquing books professionally for two years as a contributor to the now defunct, Popcultureshock’s Manga Recon. This experience exposed me to the inner workings of the publishing industry, pushed me to actively use Twitter as the main promotional tool for my writing, invigorated myself to create & lead several panel discussions, appear on multiple podcasts and continue to write my reviews & opinions at Spandexless.
